Rihanna Wears a Miniskirt to Shop for Baby Clothes at LA Target

Rihanna is preparing for her little one's arrival.

The multi-hyphenate was spotted shopping for baby clothes during a Target run in Los Angeles on Tuesday, picking up some clothes, onesies, and socks for her first child. In the pics, which you can see here, the superstar pairs a glittery silver miniskirt by The Attico with an Awake Living the Dream hoodie, screen-printed with a sunset skyline against a blue background.

The "Work" singer finished the look with purple stilettos with crystal straps from Amina Muaddi and an embroidered Fendi bag, with her hair worn in a high ponytail.

Per Entertainment Tonight, the Fenty mogul was joined by her pal Sita Abellan for the shopping trip. She was also seen putting both boy's and girl's clothing in her cart, hinting that she's keeping the baby's sex a surprise til birth (or just a surprise for the public).

Since she announced her pregnancy last January with an NYC photoshoot last January, Rihanna has reinvented maternity fashion, refusing to change her signature style and having fun with several bump-bearing looks. The star opened up about her style in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, calling the pregnancy an "exciting journey."

"Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal," she continued. "It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend."

The Ocean's 8 actor also opened up about her third trimester and her expectations for motherhood in a new interview with ELLE, in which she compared her future parenting style to that of two stars of the Real Housewives reality TV franchise.

"Heather Dubrow is so chic while being a mom. Just love the way that she just allows her kids to be who they are. And that's really inspiring to me. But Teresa [Giudice] from Jersey does not play about her kids," she said. "She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that's the type of mom I'm going to be. Psycho about it. ... You talk about my kids, it's over."
